I have used two, both of which require a winsock.

Trumpet is shareware, and requires a $40 US registration after 30 days. You can ftp
it from the authors home server, baudin.cc.utas.edu.au, which is in Tasmania, Austrailia.
They request DL's not be made during their working hours, which is not a hard request
to comply with here in the states, as they are about 17 hours ahead of the west coast.

WinVN is free, and is available from titan.ksc.nasa.gov in the /pub/win3/winVN directory.
I had trouble connecting here, even though we are in the same county, but eventually did..
Get the zip file that has STD in the title. The latest version is 0.90.5, which is greatly improved
over earlier versions. A doc file is available, although it was written for 0.70.

I have used both, and they are both good after you get used to them. I now use WinVN,
as I didn't feel like paying $40 for Trumpet.

hostname:port#  I'm pretty sure that's the way it's supposed to be done.
